Subscription to Addiction

As I sit here judging the people on “Hoarders” and “Intervention” I had to think out loud and ask myself… who tf are you to judge? Especially when you have your addictions that need intervention! We all do. Whether you can’t go a day without the gym or a day without heroin, you have an addiction. The people on my two of my favorite shows don’t have positive ones, and for so long watching people with addictions “worse” than mine made me feel like my own wasn’t so bad. That is a lie. It’s one that I’ve been telling myself for too long. Any thing that you can’t go without is an addiction, there are no levels to an addiction. And yes I do include love when I say that. Love is beautiful. A feeling I attempt to recreate with my words often. Love is also destructive and consuming. Making fools of those with the best intentions, often crowning those with the worst. Love is a universal addiction… and I’m unsubscribing.
