Bright Soul, Heavy Load

The light you carried

Must have been heavy 

It brighten the days of so many

The only bad part is 

When it was time for you

To bask in the rays,

You thought you didn’t have any.

You freely gave out your love and energy 

I could laugh from now until infinity 

On your memory

Yet I write this with a heavy heart

I know your pain all too well

And to be honest 

As your friend I feel like I failed,

But the universe is omnipotent.

With its decisions we must become content,

I’ll feel your hugs in the breeze

Laugh with you in my memories

Burn trees in your honor..
